Supply Management is part of the bank's CFO division in Shared Services. It is responsible for identifying, engaging and managing the suitable suppliers to deliver commercial and operational value to Credit Suisse across all regions and divisions. For any expenditure category, it leads all commercial supply matters in partnership with the businesses, manages demand, mitigates risks, optimizes cost and quality, and ensures the timely and efficient delivery of the procured goods and services. Supply Management seeks mutually beneficial relationships with the suppliers who play an integral role in helping Credit Suisse to provide superior financial services to its clients around the world.


The Supply Management Chief of Staff Office manages a variety of tasks supporting the development of the Supply Management organization through people development, information and project management as well as operational risk and control activities.

The team defines the organization's people strategy and develops and executes learning and development programs. At the same time, it drives Management Information Systems.,is responsible for the governance and management of the operational risk mitigation and the respective procedures. It ensures that compliance and control measures are in place and handles the internal audit tracking and post audit review. It also manages the Supply Management information channels facilitating efficient coverage of the information needs of Supply Management's core stakeholders and In addition, the team provides leadership team advisory and support and leads the supplier diversity and sustainability activities.

The Chief of Staff Office members are located across all Credit Suisse regions to cover global requirements with subject matter expertise in the areas mentioned above and to regionally interact face-to-face with the stakeholders, to provide on-site advisory service and support and to ensure proximity to the local regulators.

Wymagania

Successful completion of study (Master-level) in business administration or legal, ideal: majoring in legal, HR, communications
Min. 1-2 years of work experience in international business environment and virtual teams
Ideally experienced with working in project environment, regulatory risk and/or consultancy
Ideally experience in obligations in financial services

Required:
University degree supported by industry experience
Experience in project management, change management and business process design
Skilled in policy & regulatory obligations interpretation.
Aptitude to create management recommendations on newly created policies affecting the supply management function and identifying adaptation requirements
Highly computer literate and able to use different tools/medium to present topics (MS Office Suite is a must)
Strong analytical skills
Self starter capabilities and proven stamina
Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to interact with multiple stakeholder levels (ENO- MD)
Good presentation, communication and influencing skills
Ability to explain complex issues in concise, crisp and easy to understand manner, targeted to the audience
Able to work independently and with global, virtual teams; strong relationship management skills, working cross functionally
Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
Legal/Sourcing/Procurement knowledge is a plus
Solid English skills
Fluent in German

Obowiązki

Acting as the Chief of Staff interface on-site your main responsibilities are:

Operational Risk Mitigation, Compliance and Control
• Advocate and drive an operational risk, quality and control mindset for Supply Management on-site
• Advise and support Subject Matter Experts in improving and establishing new policies, internal regulations and procedures
• Facilitate prevention of unethical, illegal or improper conduct in the Supply Management organization
• Control and mitigate operational risks by supporting the development of internal regulations and controls and by conducting spot checksto ensure that SM policies and procedures are documented, in place and working effectively in line with external and Bank and SM-wide policies and regulations
• Conduct vulnerability analyses and suggestion of corrective action.
• Creation and/ maintenance of policy document (e.g internal regulations, standards of conducts etc)
• Conducting updates in the Audit Tracking System ATS
• Engage with key business partners from Legal and Compliance, Internal Audit, IT Risk and Business Continuity Management departments by being a regional representative to them
• Oversight of the effectiveness of the Internal Control System (ICS) and maintenance of the global tool for supervisory controls (MICOS)

Special Tasks and Projects
• Supporting the SM Project Portfolio Management
• Establish relationships within Credit Suisse and interface with department representatives such as Legal & Compliance, BORO, OE, Corporate Communications and the Business School
• Collect internal business partner satisfaction raw data and distill to management information

People & Information Process
• Edit executive reports (incl. SM Dashboards and CFO Reports) in close collaboration with other areas of COO and SM Create PowerPoint presentations/success stories, etc. and
• Lead/syndicate the global Supply Management Newsletter publication (quartarly basis)
• Maintain and administer the Supply Management information channels (Internet, Sharepoint, others) and ensure compliance with appropriate CS standards and policies.
• Identify and cover training needs for SM on-site by organizing trainings
